Introduction and advantages of FRP sheet

Introduction:

FRP sheet is a plate-shaped material with unsaturated polyester resin as the matrix, alkali-free untwisted chopped yarn combined with powder chopped felt as the reinforcing material, reacting with curing agent and accelerator, and compounded through special processing.

Advantages:

FRP sheet has good corrosion resistance, insulation, fire resistance, sound insulation and fire resistance, and has a smooth appearance and is impermeable. It is light and high-strength with good impact resistance, UV resistance and aging resistance, easy to shape, can be cut to any length, anti-static, does not absorb dust, is easy to clean and has low maintenance cost, high light transmittance, light transmittance of 0-85%, and a long service life of up to 15-20 years. It has a low thermal conductivity and good insulation effect. Due to the addition of glass fiber, light will be diffusely scattered when it passes through, and will not leave light bands on the ground, nor will it produce glare. It has low UV transmittance and can provide a good working environment.
Since iron sheet  have poor light transmittance and cannot achieve self-lighting, fiberglass plates can be used instead of iron plates in places with long-term lighting needs, such as industries, factories, ranches, and industrial warehouses. Since iron plates are not corrosion-resistant and are prone to rust and aging, and have poor weather resistance, they can be used instead of iron plates in some occasions with special requirements for corrosion resistance, weight, insulation, and weather resistance, such as fertilizer warehouses, chemical plants, petrochemical environments, wastewater treatment plants, cooling towers, and marine environments.
